Accidents, illness, disease, old age often bring suffering we cannot explain.

Even the Higher Power whom I choose to call Jesus the greatest healer of all, did not explain the why's or mysteries of suffering. He tried simply to relieve it where ever He could. As His life ended at the crucifixion, He took it upon Himself.

The Higher Power taught us not to give into sickness, but to fight to regain health. At the same time, He showed what indirect blessings sickness sometimes brings.

What blessings can sickness bring??????

Sickness can remind us how dependent we are on others, and above all on our Higher Power for life. It makes us see how precious life is. It invites us to believe, to call for our Higher Powers help, to accept our Higher Powers way, and to grow in confidence that whatever lies ahead ALL WILL BE WELL.

Prayer In Sickness

O Higher Power

I am in your hands,

You know me from my mother's womb

O Wise Creator,

soothe my pain; heal my body and soul.

O Higher Power

You went doing good

and healing many.

Once your Hands raised the dead to life,

restore my health to me.

Once your Hands gave sight to the blind,

take me from the darkness of my fears.

Once your Hands made the paralyzed walk,

let me walk again

with my family and friends.

Once your hands were nailed to the cross,

strengthen me in sickness and pain.

O Holy Spirit,

Giver of Life,

Helper and Friend

Source of all good gifts,

Erase all fears from me,

bring peace and comfort to me.

One very easy affirmation/prayer to remember is;

Divine Love floods my consciousness with health

and every cell in my body

is filled with Light.

The more I go on in life the more I see that fears have played such a big role in all area's of my life. Think for yourself how fears have manifested in your own life and are you ready to remove all these fears with time. To honestly look at you. To see the reflection in the mirror and to Love that reflection, because that is the true you. You have to look deep to see that others installed those fears in you. A lot more later.

For yesterday is but a dream,

And tomorrow is only a vision,

Makes every yesterday a dream of happiness,

And every tomorrow a vision of hope.

Look well, therefore, to this day.

Love and Compassion. Have Love and Compassion in your consciousness and sub-consciousness and all will be well for you and yours.

 Choose you this day whom you shall serve FEAR or FAITH.
